Mariel Rose Garcia is a talented International Mixed Media Artist who has made a name for herself in the art world. With a family background in the arts and mentoring from her father and other accomplished artists, she has honed her skills over the past 23 years.
During her career, Garcia has painted murals have earned international recognition, and she has been involved in projects that promote environmental causes, such as the protection of native corn in Mexico through the Colectivo de Todo Especies, All Species Project in Oaxaca City.
In addition to her mural work, Garcia has also contributed to the art community as an art instructor at ARTsmart New Mexico for five years. She worked with students from kindergarten to twelfth grade, engaging in after-school programs, summer camps, and art education initiatives. Notably, she led the Youth Mural Program and the Santa Fe Youth Detention Center Art Education Program from 2014 to 2019.
